Heard about this restaurant through a friend. This place is known for their bo ne so we had to give it a try. Bo ne is the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs. It usually comes with pate and is served with French bread. This was my favorite thing to eat growing up and having this definitely felt like home. The interior of the restaurant felt like a French cafe. The ladies taking our order spoke very limited English, so I got to flex my elementary level Vietnamese skills while ordering lol We came here for dinner on a Sunday night and the service was pretty quick! Our food came out within 5 minutes. The bread also comes out warm and toasty. The food here is definitely authentic but if you plan on getting bo ne, just know it's a little on the heavy side and you'll likely walk out with a food coma!

We were craving for some sizzling platters, so we tried the Bo Ne Sot Toi. It came with warm toasted bread and salad, which complemented the entree very well. The garlic sauce was delicious! The steak on the other hand, was a little overcooked. Would much rather like my steak on the medium/rare side. It was definitely hard to chew and the portion was small. Other than that, the service was great and the restaurant was clean and very spacious.

Our favorite place to get bo ne! We've had several other places in the area but this has consistently been our favorite. I get the bo ne with the mushroom sauce, and my fiancé always gets the one with the garlic sauce. The order comes with steak and eggs as well as bread, and salad appetizer. It's always so so filling, and the meat is flavored well with pepper, but my favorite thing to do is add some meat and mushroom sauce to the bread and eat it all together. The only negative thing is the price increased over the years, which is expected because of inflation. So I still recommend this place if you're looking for bo ne!

I haven't been in this place in years but I came here with my parents on a Sunday. My dad and I had gotten the plate of fries, 2 pate bo ne, and my mom got the vermicelli with shrimp. In total with 2 cokes and 1 water it was $72. They have sooo many options and I honestly can't wait to try more of their food. Service doesn't take that long and everything comes out pretty quickly. Meat is very juicy and not dry at all

Don't let the exterior deceive you! This restaurant fits into the category of Vietnamese "cafe" or "breakfast" restaurants where coffee, and well known Vietnamese and French fusion are served. They are known for their French/Vietnamese cuisine, more specifically their bo ne. What sets this restaurant apart from others is that there are three flavors of bo ne to choose from including garlic butter, black pepper, and mushroom sauce (which I ordered). The mushroom Bo ne was extremely flavorful and came sizzling as soon as it was served to me. They were EXTREMELY generous on the sauce, and I appreciate the sunny side up egg and salad that came with it. The only minor downside I had however was that I asked for it to be cooked medium rare, but instead got either a medium cooked or well done steak. Either way, I throughly enjoyed eating it and was able to finish it easily. Not to mention, the baguette that came with the bo ne was fresh crispy and piping hot. However, if you order iced water do be aware that they only sell water by the bottle and will give you a glass of ice separately. The theming of the restaurant feels as if your stepping foot into an alleyway in France. There were many different decorations placed all throughout the store including a vespa scooter and Van Gogh Paintings. Service was extremely attentive and quick, as everything my party ordered came out as quickly as possible. I'd definitely recommend Mon Ami if you'd like to try authentic and well cooked bo ne!
